There were about 40 of us dancing in the incredible Palau Guals&Torres, a 14th century aristocratic house under restoration in the heart of Cardona, Catalonia. The stand towards barcelona in the East was conducted from various rooms and floors of the house. We had musical contribution from Guto from Rio plus an accumulation of vocalists following in the Brazilian style. It was our first evening jam of the research part of Touch & Play so it was an opportunity to focus our energy and meet each others practice. Some dancers chose to wear colourful undergarments recently purchased from the street market in the town square. Perhaps they had confused the Underscore with an underwear score… We danced on into the evening until it was time to face Poitiers in the west. Harvesting continued on the roof terrace over glasses of Rioja.
